	EARLS COLNE BADMINTON CLUB was established on the 1st of September 1999. We are a local and social badminton club, where our members enjoy playing competitive games in a excellent social atmosphere. We play with feather shuttles on two courts. If you have played badminton before, why don’t you come along on Sunday night @ 7.00/8.30 pm at Earls Colne Recreation Club to enjoy some excellent badminton games. (Please call, as sometimes we have matches on). FREE BADMINTON: We have a few nights coming up where we would like to invite you to come to our club on Sunday night from 7pm. If you are 16 or older and you have played badminton before, you can play on the 6th, 13th and 20th of June 2010 for THREE FREE nights of excellent badminton. Latest news!!! 24/5/10 Yesterday, in probably one of the hottest days this year, Wilfried & Ben did get into the mens doubles final of the Cambridge Bonanza badminton tournament. After they won all the four pool matches, they then won the 1/8 final, quarter final and semi-final. The final was tough, in which they had to play two very good players, of one being an international player from Lithuania, who had already won the singles that day. An excellent result though, to end up as runners up, especially with the quality opposition in this tournament. 7/3/2010 Wilfried & Ben just won the Chelmsford District Tournament, beating Mark & Steve Gooday in the mens doubles final 21-18 & 21-19. Ben, as the youngest member of our club, showed his potential and the future looks certainly bright for him...

one team in the Colchester League.
